Last week’s nails modeled imperfection at its finest.
Last week I had plain, imperfect nails. In the interest of saving a little time since I was leaving town for training the following morning and maintaining a professional feel for said training, I simply did Mary Kay Signature Hot Pink.
The bright pink had a bold feminine feel and keeping that initial chip on there reminded me that it’s okay not to be perfect. More importantly, I told myself it was okay that others could see my flawed manicure. I wore it like that, and the people surrounding me still appreciated me for my strengths and details. I showed a real version of myself, maybe even revealing a chip representative of a break inside. At least I made my hot mess look good!
