Last week, I saw both my favorite artists play live in Kansas City. I have posted my highlights from the John Mayer concert, and now I’m going to share my photos from the Matchbox Twenty show. They are my all time favorite group, and Goo Goo Dolls and Kate Earl added to the overall excellent performance.

I met Kate after her set. She was so courteous about spending time with all her fans to shake their hands, ask their names, pose for pictures, sign autographs. She made sure she thanked me for supporting her dream, one I was extremely happy to support. She has a good voice and kind, engaging stage presence to go with her great songwriting. She’s also absolutely beautiful, which isn’t a bad trait to have for performing.

I look like a double time fangirl here with my Matchbox Twenty tour shirt (from their last concert I attended) and my goofy smile over talking to Kate.

Goo Goo Dolls performed a great set. They played most of their hits, and a lot of the crowd sang along.
I had a fantastic time!
small world! I was having dinner with friends at Jacobson’s in KCMO last week…they had to leave early to catch the GoGo Dolls and I was sooooo envious. Would have loved to catch them! YAY You for sharing the experience here 🙂

It was an absolutely fantastic show! I’m glad I could share it with you. My mom and I had dinner at the Power & Light District before the concert. We ended up sitting outside a restaurant across the street from Buckcherry’s tour bus because we hoped it might have belonged to Goo Goo Dolls or Matchbox Twenty.
